Our Story
In 1991, Lupe and Nick opened the first Móle Mexican Bar and Grill in New York City with one simple mission—to share the authentic flavors and spirit of Mexico with their community.
What started as a single neighborhood restaurant soon grew into three bustling locations, each known for its warm hospitality and unforgettable dishes. Their passion for quality and tradition became the foundation of everything Móle stands for today.
The Secret Behind the Flavor
The heart of our kitchen is our namesake Móle sauce, handmade in Mexico by Doña Emelia and imported exclusively for our restaurants. Crafted from a blend of chiles, nuts, spices, and a touch of chocolate, this sauce tells the story of centuries-old Mexican culinary artistry.
That same devotion to authenticity runs through every bite—from our tableside guacamole to sizzling fajitas, enchiladas, and Tex-Mex favorites made in the traditional way.
A Celebration Every Day
Móle Cantina Mexicana is more than a restaurant—it’s a celebration of heritage, family, and flavor.
From our humble beginnings in New York City to our newest home in Wellington, every dish, drink, and detail honors the authenticity of Mexican tradition while inviting guests to create new memories together. Come taste the story, and discover why life always tastes better at Móle.
